Dr. Mathur graduated from our department in 2005 and became a resident scholar of economic policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute. She has continued to contribute to our department as a valued member of the Economics Leadership Council. Dr. Mathur’s research has addressed topics such as income inequality, labor markets and tax policy, and has been published in a variety of top journals. She also contributes regularly to the popular press.
