Prateik Dalmia has been awarded an All-S.T.A.R. Fellowship from the Graduate School for AY 2017-2018.  This award goes to recognize a grad student who is doing an outstanding job in scholarship as well as GA work and service.  Each college on campus recommends two graduate students for All-S.T.A.R. fellowships; Prateik was chosen out of nominees from the 9 departments within the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences.

Prateik is currently working on his dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Emel Filiz-Ozbay. His research aims to understand how delegation of decision rights in a negotiation affect the outcome of a bargaining process.  Additionally, he serves as the Graduate Assistant for the Promoting Achievement and Diversity in Economics (PADE) initiative under Dr. Jessica Goldberg, where he helped develop the program, and serves as the primary mentor for the participants.
