Senior Lecturer Stefania Scandizzo has been awarded a 2022 TLTC Teaching and Learning Grant for the redesign of Econ 443 “International Trade and Trade Policy in the New Global Economy”. Students in the course examine current issues of international trade and how the growing integration of national economies has changed the way the world works. The redesigned course will include an updated research project: as a class, students will analyze different aspects of the changes to the global trading system brought about by recent events, and how different actors are being affected. Topics will include the effects of the Covid pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The redesigned course will be offered beginning in Spring 2023.
